Vacation 2016 - Day 7, Part 2: Empúries, The Greek City - Part 1

A bit later than announced - I have been busy painting warriors for a SAGA Viking warband (and other purposes) - I should have some to show tomorrow!

After a long road trip north, we arrived at the Empúries site (thanks to Garmin).

I shall let the photos mostly speak for themselves. I found the excavated city very impressive, and I hope some of the grandeur of the whole thing is showing.

The Greeks certainly knew where to build... a couple of views of the sea.
