Vacation 2016 - Day 7, Part 1: The Road to Empúries

Another hot and sunny day, but we had decided to see some of the sights of northern Catalonia, starting with the ancient double-city of Empúries. This post is just showing a few photos I took on the road north. Tomorrow I shall start showing pictures from the excavated ancient Greek city - but be warned: There is a LOT. I shall probably have to spread the pictures of each section of the site over several posts. But, man, was it worth a trip!
