Blood Eagle: Sigurdr Krage Finished!

Took me long enough, but that is the price you pay when adding all those little extra bits and bobs to the build when assembling your multi-part plastic miniatures.

Equipped with his brand new shield, sporting the chosen mark of his blood-line, he is now ready to lead my finished 200 points warband on a raid on a Saxon/Rohan settlement in the scenario I am preparing for Horisont VIII.

I have prepared Sigurdr for picking up a Throwing Axe when I expand the warband. Throwing Axes are cool.

Blood Eagle: Rolf Finished!

Long overdue (started before the summer holidays), I now finally got the last lick of paint on Rolf, the old Huskarl.

I am not going to write a colour breakdown for him, as, firstly, I don't remember what colours I used several months ago, secondly, I shall not need to replicate the paintjob.

GoB Viking Army (Blood Gorged Proxies) WIP 3, Transfers Arrived!

Couple of days ago I received some transfers and banners from Little Big Men, ordered for my Vikings.

I now need to find something to use for banner poles, as the banners are too broad for the spears. I hope to procure some brass rod Tuesday, when I go to the hobby/DIY store in Svendborg to get some paint for the LEGO Elves terrain project.

Getting Ready for Decals!

Got Micro Set and Micro Sol (and a flat brush for applying the latter) from Frontline Hobby here in Denmark today.

I may try it out on a couple of DreadBall players one of the next days - if I can find the time to do so in between the outdoor chores.

No matter what, I should now be set to get good results when fiddling around with decals, which has always put me off for fear of botching the job...
