I have started work on the two command figures for when the Greek archers need them present (God of Battles, for instance).I know, standards were not really used by the ancient Greeks, but for some Fantasy purposes, I need to mock one up, anyway.
I have decided to use the static pose for that purpose; I am going to glue an upright wire spear to his right arm, and then sculpt his right hand around it(!).
I am not sure if I can actually sculpt a lifelike hand, but we shall have to wait and see...
