Basing, Basing, Basing

Almost all of today I was in Sønderjylland to act as a pallbearer when moving my father-in-law's coffin from the hospital chapel to the hearse for transport to the chapel at the church in Øsby, and from the hearse to the chapel at the destination.

I had to return home this evening, as I had not the foresight to take both Wednesday and Thursday nights off, and thus have to work tonight.

I returned just before 9 p.m., and set about putting the first helping of filler on the last couple of skeletons for the new unit, and glue a few loose feet to the bases.

Tomorrow, after sleeping, I am driving back to Haderslev to rejoin my family for the funeral in Øsby.
