2018-07-13, Vacation 2018 - Day 4, Brügge Part 2, The Canal Tour Part 1.

It was a very hot day, so we decided to take a canal tour - it hasd to be cooler to be ont the water and not walking.

We had to sit and wait for a while - lots of tourist in Brügge that day.

There are bridges in Brügge, too (I think the city's name kind of suggests that, anyway).

I was pretty miffed that we did not halt here ...

More pics from the canal tour next time.

December Greetings to Everybody!

The cosiest month of the year has finally arrived, and despite soaring energy prices I have decided that we have to shine a little light in the darkness.

I think we all need something nice to look at to invoke some positive thoughts, defying the pandemic, inflation, and war.

Yes, war.

For the first time since WWII a European country has invaded another with the purpose of conquest. It's apalling, and, frankly, stupid, to take this course of action here in the 21st Century, but it seems that Putin is not really living in the same times as the rest of us.

I took some pictures with different camera settings to get to know my Canon Ixus a bit better. Still not perfect, but, well ...

The Last Gravestones - For a While

Two Renedra Plastic. one Citadel Plastic from an Undead sprue (I have a shedload of those).

These were the last gravestones that I had prepped and primed, and December means focusing on some other stuff, so don't expect to see more of this kind until January.

Frodo's Quest: Another Ranger of Ithilien, Rebased and Touched Up

As mentioned, I have been doing some work on this here Ranger, too.

He has been given almost the exact same treatment as his colleague from yeaterday, and now he is ready for the table once more.

Tomorrow is December, and I shall turn my attention to some Winter/Christmas-themed stuff for the next couple of weeks, at least.
