I ordered these two for use as employees in the Dragon Lady's establishment. I have the Dragon Lady on the pain(t) station for the Back of Beyond Painting club at LAF at the moment (although I shall probably not find time to finish her until after Horisont VIII), and of course I also need to either buy or build the premises on which she resides, but I thought I might as well right away get a couple of girls to entertain the guests.
I got these two as freebies (apart from the flame thrower Daphne). and although somewhat in theme with the two above their equipment/attire makes them more fitting for a modern (or maybe Post-Apocalytic?) strip club, so they may have to wait quite a while for the paint brush.

Hasslefree: Shieldmaiden - For Blood Eagle and SAGA and...
I included this dynamic shieldmaiden miniature in my recent Hasslefree order. Not much to say about it; I expect to include her in my Blood Eagle Viking warband later this year (if I get around to it - lots of ongoing projects that also need attention at the moment)-
Hasslefree: Meddling Teenagers
I have been wanting to get the meddling teenagers sets from Hasslefree for quite a while, and about a month ago, I finally took the plunge and ordered the two sets along with a few other bits and bobs I want for other projects.
The first set consists of the four unarmed (if a Book-toting Velma can be considered unarmed, that is...) protagonists, and the centerpiece of the team, the Great Dane.
The second set consits of the same characters, buit now in a 'post-apocalyptic' mode, and armed in a manner befitting to survivors of a zombie outbreak, or the likes.
Among other freenbies, I got an alternative version of Daphne, carrying what I think is a humongous flame thrower, and that might come in handy at some point.
I expect to use the team when re-booting my zombiecalypse (Dead Walk Again) gaming somewhen during the coming winter/spring (along with getting some of the Versatiles urban ground tiles from Multiverse Gaming, and some buildings to go along with them.
I shall paint them in pairs, one unarmed version and one armed, like Fred below, so I can play both mystery scenarios and outright survival fests.

Getting in the Right Mood...
I have been unearthing some of the Halloween decorations from the basement, and also purchased a few pieces more (notably Billy, some Ghoulish Garlands, and Uncle William), and spent an hour or so arranging stuff in the conservatory and the living room windows.
Some pics from the entrance to the house.
Some pics from the entrance to the house.
The windows in the gable end facing Åparken.
And a phote better showing Billy (to the left), and Uncle William (next to the door). I got Uncle William from the FALGS in Odense Saturday afternoon before the girls went on the Harry Potter boat trip, and I carried him with me through the city (I was dressed up with in almost Victorian fashion of black suit, white/silver waistcoat and bow tie, black top hat, and knee-long black coat), and my moustache curled).
Harry Potter Festival 2016: Zoomagical Boat Ride
The day after the Hogwarts Express ride, the girls went on the evening Zoomagical Boat Trip on Odense Å from Munke Mose to Odense Zoo, where some scary and wondrous stuff awaited them.
I still do not know how to manually set my camera for less than optimal lighting conditions, so the photos are not all that great, but I think you will get the overall mood.

Off they go!
The previous tour returns to Munke Mose
The late tour was somewhat delayed, and I walked up the river to look out for the returning boats.
At a bridge, I noticed this:
The return of the late tour. The kids had a great time, and if you ever visit Odense with kids during week 42, I can heartily recommend the festival.

Blood Eagle - Missing a Hersír
Here is Sigurdr's raiders so far. I actually only need to finish Sigurdr, and I shall have 200 points ready for the table (and I then need to get some civilians painted to act as objectives in my scenario for Horisont VIII).

Blood Eagle: Rolf Finished!
Long overdue (started before the summer holidays), I now finally got the last lick of paint on Rolf, the old Huskarl.
I am not going to write a colour breakdown for him, as, firstly, I don't remember what colours I used several months ago, secondly, I shall not need to replicate the paintjob.
I shall however, as usual, reprint the Blood Eagle profile for Rolf:

Lemon-Elderflower Aquavit
I seem to have completely forgotten that I had put the excess lemon slices from the elderflower juice mash in jars with vodka.
I sort of expected the stuff to turn rather bitter/sour, and to have to sweeten it, but it has turned out to be one of the best schnappses I have made, yet.
It is not going to be the last time I use this 'recipe', that's for sure!

Blood Eagle for Horisont VIII: The Dwarven Relief Force
I have plans for bringing a Blood Eagle table for Horisont VIII, November 18-20, and as I cannot manage to paint both another full warband AND some civilians in a bit less than a month, I have dug up some second-hand painted Dwarves to press into service as a relief force for a Rohan village besieged by Uruk-Hai and Dunlendings (Vikings).
I may have to touch-up some chips and slap some matt varnish on here and there, but the task ahead is mainly re-basing onto washers.
And, yes, these four are all it takes to field 200 points...

Harry Potter Festival 2016: The Hogwarts Express
Odense Central Library each year organizes a Harry Potter Festival in the weekend of week 42 (Autumn School Break week here in Denmark).
This year I managed to get hold of 2 tickets for the Hogwarts Express (vintage train from Odense Railway Museum) trip, which marks the beginning of the festival on Thursday evening, and is one of the most popular events.
I took a bunch of photos from Byens Bro (the City Bridge) which traverses the railroad station area and tracks, and I apologize in advance for the many almost identical pics.
The pupils start entering the train.
The Express has taken off.
The following photos are from when the train returned to Odense.
The kids retrieved by my Wife - and Lea has spotted me! A certain professor is supervising the disembarkation.
The mandatory photo in front of the engine:
